Job Overview

At StoryPoint, we're seeking a skilled and friendly Café Barista to join our team. As a key member of our café team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages to our customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized café area, including the bar, floors, and equipment.
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed, and ensure that all products are properly stored and displayed.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge of coffee preparation and customer service.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a café or food service environment, with a focus on customer service and beverage preparation.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
