As a Retail Data Specialist with Scan Scape, you will play a critical role in collecting valuable data from local retailers. This information is used to assess and improve the performance of products and stores. With a focus on independence and flexibility, this part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including grocery, convenience, and mass merchandise stores.

We are looking for reliable individuals with a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. You will be responsible for scanning barcodes and inventorying specific products within the store, using your own personal device. This data is essential in helping us deliver insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Scan barcodes and inventory specific products within the store
  • Use a downloadable app to collect data on products and store layouts
  • Work in a variety of store settings, including grocery, convenience, and mass merchandise
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely data collection
Requirements:
  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license
  • Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods of time, while accessing products throughout the store
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods of time
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently

As a Retail Data Specialist, you can expect to earn an estimated $15 per hour, with opportunities for flexible scheduling and paid travel between stores.
