Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team at LaborOne Staffing. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining marine piping systems on a variety of vessels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove, repair, and replace marine piping systems, including Auxiliary Salt Water, Fire Main, Potable Water, Hydraulic, Compressed Air, Fuel Oil, Lube Oil, Engine Exhaust, and other systems.
  • Install and test new piping systems, ensuring they meet specifications and are safe for operation.
  • Provide direction and guidance to improvers and helpers, as directed by the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality work.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in a shipyard environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ship construction, piping systems, and related equipment.
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, drawings, and general correspondence.
  • Physical and medical ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
