Role Responsibilities:
The Medical Imaging Equipment Specialist is responsible for maintaining and servicing high-quality medical imaging systems for our clients. This includes:
  • Troubleshooting complex medical imaging devices.
  • Implementing and adhering to preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Documenting customer service interactions and maintaining internal service records.
  • Resolving technical issues related to imaging applications, electrical components, computer systems, and mechanical systems.
  • Complying with Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other relevant regulatory standards.
  • Conducting service, calibration, and quality assurance checks in accordance with ISO13485 standards.
Technical Support Duties:
Provide expert technical assistance for high-end medical imaging equipment through online and telephone support. Responsibilities include:
  • Engaging with customers daily to ensure effective resolution of issues.
  • Monitoring system performance and conducting evaluations and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and managing system operations.
  • Designing and executing system load and stress tests.
  • Escalating application problems to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as necessary.
Applications Support:
Regularly collaborate with radiologists, technicians, and medical professionals to stay informed about emerging imaging solutions and trends.
Software Support:
Ensure continuous operational support for software applications related to X-ray and Vascular modalities. Responsibilities include:
  • Utilizing Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) for various imaging processes.
  • Designing and delivering training programs for users.
  • Providing software support for both Windows and Linux environments.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of high-end medical imaging equipment.
  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid and unrestricted driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Basic computer skills and an understanding of computer networks.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as well as travel as needed.
  • The physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 pounds and perform various physical activities.
