Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose complex illnesses
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, and wound care
  • Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care
  • Educate patients and families on managing acute illnesses and promoting health and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in acute care settings
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Nationally board certified, current
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
