Product Engineer

This role requires advanced technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage medium to large-sized projects involving complex systems.

As a Product Engineer at Edge Autonomy, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing advanced products for uncrewed aircraft systems and other complex technologies.

You will lead the technical efforts for medium to large-sized projects, often managing multiple projects simultaneously. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of advanced products for complex systems
  • Develop test plans and conduct rigorous testing to validate firmware performance and compliance with industry standards
  • Oversee medium to large-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards
  • Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and performance
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and less senior technical leads

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-10+ years of experience in product engineering, with a focus on complex systems such as drones, medical devices, complex consumer electronics, or automobiles
  • Proven experience in managing medium to large-sized projects from concept to production
  • Strong background in technical innovation and project management
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is required
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, or a related field is preferred
