Maintenance Technician

This role is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our organization by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-tech financial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical and electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments to hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Develop, implement, and monitor programs that drive year-over-year increases in safety and ergonomics and reductions in workplace accidents and injuries.
- Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting to maintain automated systems.
- Use precision measurement tools to inspect parts and ensure they meet specified standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required and provide timely solutions.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities, learning, and applying lean methods and contribute to the identification and elimination of waste.
- Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a similar industry.
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment repair, PLC programming, mechanical systems, electrical systems, machine operation, precision measurement, and power tools.
- Excellent understanding of industrial control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift and weekends, if necessary.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.
