Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide comprehensive training for both new and existing Medical Office Receptionists, covering essential systems such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) and insurance verification platforms.
  2. Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and provide on-call support during evenings and weekends.
  3. Act as a bridge between staff and management regarding daily registration operations.
  4. Conduct regular audits to confirm that all registration processes are executed efficiently.
  5. Utilize insurance verification software to monitor and enhance employee productivity.
  6. Assist management in developing and implementing customer service initiatives within the department.
  7. Supervise Medical Office Receptionists, including managing staff schedules and orientation.
  8. Support billing processes for encounters at Wood County Hospital, ensuring follow-up on any outstanding charges.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Shift Information

Hours: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's degree is required.
  • Alternatively, a high school diploma with at least 2 years of experience in a healthcare or physician office setting.
