Position Information:
The Respiratory Therapist provides airway management, administration of nebulized medications, secretion management, and application of oxygen therapy within the scope of practice under physician orders. Patient populations consist of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Therapist plans, implements, and evaluates the effectiveness of therapy, communicating with the physician and healthcare team.
Experience Requirements:
- 1 year of clinical experience in respiratory therapy (preferred)
Education Requirements:
- Associate's degree in respiratory therapy (required)
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (required)
- NC Respiratory Care Practitioner (required)
- Basic Life Support (required)
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (required within 1 year of hire)
Work Schedule:
- 7a-7p
Weekend and Call Requirements:
- Every third weekend
- Yes
