Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Host Healthcare is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team for a travel assignment in Durham, North Carolina.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Respiratory Therapist with Host Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative team setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients with a variety of respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, and asthma.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Conduct routine assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
