Responsibilities:- Assess, diagnose, and manage critically ill patients in the SICU, utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with the surgical intensivist team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to the development of unit policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and best practices in critical care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Master's degree in nursing or related field.
- Current NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License and certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse in New Jersey.
- Experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on perioperative patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
