Job Opportunity at Thriveworks

We are seeking a Licensed Couples and Family Therapist to join our team at Thriveworks in Washington, DC.

About the Role

As a Licensed Couples and Family Therapist, you will provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions to clients in our Washington, DC location.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with clients individually or as a couple or family to assess their emotional and psychological needs and develop a treatment plan
  • Provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions to clients
  • Work with clients of all ages and populations, including couples and families
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to help clients achieve their goals
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of DC
  • Experience working with couples and families, preferably in a specialty area such as trauma or children
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
