We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Public Finance Credit Risk team as a Vice President, Credit Risk II. This role will involve analyzing and reviewing financial analyses for credit approval, collaborating with internal partners, and evaluating sectoral trends and creditworthiness of assigned borrowers.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and prepare financial analyses for credit approval, including reviewing annual and interim financial statements, collateral valuation reports, and rating agency reports.
- Collaborate with internal business partners to evaluate the purpose of financing, sources of repayment, and quality of collateral.
- Evaluate and monitor sectoral trends and creditworthiness of assigned borrowers, making recommendations on internal borrower risk ratings.
- Support the identification of existing and emerging risks applicable to the Public Finance/Not-for-Profit loan portfolio.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of total work experience, with rating agency or municipal buy/sell side experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Experience reviewing and knowledge of official statements, audited financial statements, and industry standard documents.
