Role Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse (RN) will operate within the framework of the nursing process, providing professional nursing care that emphasizes patient and family-centered principles. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Collaborating with Nurse Leaders to ensure adherence to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
  • Engaging with patients and families to incorporate their input into care planning.
  • Documenting educational efforts and patient learning in health records.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • An Associate's Degree in Nursing (required).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (to be obtained within five years).
  • A valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be obtained within 90 days).
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (to be obtained within six months).
  • A minimum of six months of RN experience is preferred.
