Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Attendant to join our team at Northern Inyo Hospital. As a key member of our Environmental Services staff, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our hospital facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of hospital areas, including patient rooms, common areas, and clinical spaces.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, adhering to hospital protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in infection control and prevention initiatives, following established procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall mission and goals of Northern Inyo Hospital.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in environmental services or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and procedures.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies.

Working Conditions:

  • Work is performed in a hospital setting, with frequent exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
