Job Summary:

As a Compensation Claims Specialist at Inficare, you will play a critical role in determining the compensability of Workers Compensation claims filed by State government employees against the State of New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determine compensability of Workers Compensation claims filed by State government employees against the State of New Jersey.
  • Oversee medical case management for assigned files, and authorize appropriate medical treatment in consultation with a managed care provider.
  • Process temporary compensation payments, and order Independent Medical Examinations (IME).
  • Prepare physical, documentary, and testimonial evidence needed for litigated files to assist assigned Deputy Attorney General in litigation and/or trial.
  • Process claim petitions, and other legal pleadings and discovery demands.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews, and perform other related duties as required.

Requirements:

Must have excellent analytical and communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
