About the Role:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to become a valuable member of our team. Our focus is on providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to students within the public school system, aiming to support their educational and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Therapy: Perform comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language skills, and develop and execute personalized therapy plans tailored to the individual needs of each student.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to improve student outcomes, and maintain precise records of student advancements and adjust therapy strategies as required.
- Professional Development: Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on speech and language goals, and keep abreast of the latest advancements and research in speech-language pathology through continuous professional growth.
Requirements:
- Education and Licensure: Completion of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution, and hold a valid Florida state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and obtain a Professional Educator Certificate from the Florida Department of Education (mandatory for public school roles).
- Experience and Skills: Previous experience working with children in an educational environment is advantageous, and demonstrate outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
Work Environment:
- School-Based Setting: Work in a school-based environment, engaging with students, parents, educators, and other school personnel.
