Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Engineer to join our team at Peraton. As a Cyber Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of complex cyber systems, ensuring the security and integrity of our nation's critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze user requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Lead design and development activities, ensuring that systems meet the required specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies to ensure that systems meet the needs of our customers.
  • Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology, ensuring that systems are secure, reliable, and scalable.
  • Incorporate new plans, designs, and systems into ongoing operations, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Develop technical documentation, including system architecture and system design documentation, to ensure that systems are properly understood and maintained.
  • Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
  • Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
  • Have ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility.
  • Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives to ensure that systems meet the needs of our customers.

Qualifications:

  • Twelve (12) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required.
  • Experience with our customer's Mission Systems is highly desirable.
