About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and fashion-forward Sales Associate to join our team at Talbots. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with our customers, and driving sales growth through effective styling and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized service to customers, offering styling advice and product recommendations to meet their needs and preferences.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their fashion preferences and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Drive sales growth through effective styling and product knowledge, staying up-to-date on the latest fashion trends and product offerings.
  • Work collaboratively with the management team to achieve sales and service metrics, participating in learning opportunities and accepting direction, coaching, and feedback.
  • Complete projects as assigned, including operational assignments such as filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.

Requirements
  • Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise, and a love of fashion.
  • Driven to create, build, and cultivate relationships.
  • Possess a strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both as an individual and as a member of the store team.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal communication skills and a high level of integrity.
  • Possess the technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.
  • Have strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.
  • Comfortable climbing ladders, moving around regularly, and standing for extended periods of time.
  • Able to bend, reach, stretch for product as well as lift, carry, and move at least 40 lbs.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Have open availability of (15 to 20) hours per week.
