Our Operations division is in search of a Sourcing Manager for FIJI Water, who will play a pivotal role within the Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain team. This group's objective is to enhance profitable sales growth by reducing costs and identifying efficiency opportunities while spearheading strategic sourcing initiatives and fostering continuous innovation in packaging solutions.

In this capacity, you will oversee the effective implementation of sourcing strategies, initiatives aimed at cost reduction, vendor/product qualification and development, as well as vendor relationship management. Reporting directly to the Sourcing Director, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented professional seeking significant visibility and the chance to influence various supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sourcing team for water and wine, managing 2 direct reports.
  • Establish and maintain a robust network of qualified suppliers for all primary and secondary packaging materials (e.g., PET, HDPE, Glass, Corrugated, Flexible packaging, Labels).
  • Oversee RFP processes for all packaging sourcing projects, including supply chain/logistics, professional services, and capital projects.
  • Assist in formulating category sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to guide the Sourcing team in driving new product and packaging initiatives from concept to execution.
  • Ensure annual COGS targets are met by managing supplier contracts, expenditures, and performance metrics.
  • Negotiate contracts and perform financial analyses to achieve optimal cost/value outcomes.
  • Monitor key spending trends, cost drivers, market dynamics, and the strategic significance of critical commodities to implement effective sourcing strategies that maximize profitability and mitigate risks.
  • Develop performance metrics, including external benchmarks, to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and innovations in packaging technology, recommending cost-saving or value-added opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations, marketing, engineering, and NPD teams to create and maintain detailed specifications for all packaging materials, including technical drawings, testing protocols, AQLs, and shipping formats.
  • Travel requirements are up to 15%, primarily within North America and occasionally internationally.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of sourcing experience, preferably in packaging.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, packaging engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with flexible and secondary packaging is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of printing technologies is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficient analytical thinking capabilities are required.
  • Ability to present information clearly and concisely to all organizational levels.
  • Excellent project management skills, particularly in cross-functional team environments.
  • High attention to detail is crucial.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is necessary.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $100,000 - $135,000, which may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.
