We are seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team at Rehabilitation Hospital of Rhode Island. As a vital member of our care team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to individuals in need of continued rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide morning and evening care to patients, including bed baths, oral hygiene, and other general care as needed.
- Assist patients with meals, including serving and removing food trays, and feeding patients if necessary.
- Answer patient call lights and anticipate patient needs, making rounds to assigned patients as needed.
- Assist patients with handling personal property, such as dentures, glasses, and hearing aids.
- Report and record any changes observed in patient condition or behavior, and unusual incidents.
- Assist licensed nursing staff with treatment procedures.
- Completion of a course for nursing assistants.
- Current state certification as a Nursing Assistant.
- CPR/BCLS Certification.
- Minimum six months experience in an acute or long-term facility preferred.
