Pediatric Intensive Care Nurse Leader

Job DescriptionThe Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) plays a vital role in collaborating with the Nurse Manager to support nursing associates and expand leadership presence in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). Responsibilities include planning, development, and utilization of human and material resources to meet departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through systematic evaluation.
- Provide daily clinical and operational supervision in partnership with the Nurse Manager.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current professional practice standards, laws, and regulations affecting the care of children and families.
- Contribute to the professional development of peers, colleagues, and other healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care management.
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- CPR certification by the American Heart Association; PALS & ACLS certifications are preferred.
- CCRN certification is an asset.
- 3-5 years of experience as a pediatric intensive care nurse.
- Leadership experience is an advantage.
This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per annum, based on qualifications and location.
