We are seeking an experienced Tractor Semi Diesel Engine Technician to join our team in Edgerton, KS. As a critical member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet of semi-tractor trailers.
About the RoleThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled diesel mechanic to work with a leading company in the transportation industry. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, including those related to diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractor semi-trucks, including engine overhauls and component replacements
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and support staff to ensure efficient operations
- 1-3 years of experience in tractor semi repair and maintenance
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel, electrical, cooling, and exhaust systems
- Familiarity with Cummins INSITE software
- Able to lift 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license
- Competitive hourly rate: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
