We are seeking a highly skilled Data Warehouse Lead to join our team at K&K Global Talents. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and oversight for the development of our data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for a team of developers working on data warehouse projects.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Composer, Java Dataflow, and other technologies on the Google Cloud.
  • Analyze source data and work with internal stakeholders to determine data requirements and output table schemas.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for data engineers, analysts, and security engineers.
  • Perform thorough design and code reviews for other developers.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in ETL/ELT to BigQuery.
  • 2+ years of experience in Apache Airflow in Python.
  • 3+ years of experience in data warehousing, including data source investigation, target schema design, and data pipeline design/implementation.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing for Google Cloud.
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL scripting.
  • 3+ years of experience in Java programming.
  • 2+ years of experience in Apache Beam in Java (preferably for Google Cloud Dataflow).
  • 1+ year of experience in Google Cloud Composer in Python.
  • 1+ year of experience in Google Cloud Cortex.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to write clear, concise, and well-reasoned technical explanations and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IntelliJ, Gradle, Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Datastream, Google Cloud Data Catalog, Google Looker, CI/CD, and GitHub.
  • Certified as a Professional Data Engineer for Google Cloud.
