Job Title: Weatherford Driver Class B

At Dairy Farmers of America, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Commercial Motor Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies, adhering to all safety practices.
  • Deliver pre-ordered or unscheduled products to customers according to route schedule and customer delivery expectations.
  • Follow designated routes and schedules, reporting delivery delays to management due to road conditions, accidents, or breakdowns.
  • Load and unload product as required at designated stops, including stocking, rotating, and/or ordering of product.
  • Collect empty cases and provide merchandising support based on customer requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, resolve complaints, and report any problems to the driver supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure and/or perform proper maintenance on assigned vehicles and equipment used.
  • Complete all daily paperwork fully and correctly each day, including delivery tickets, pre and post trip inspections, driver logs, trip records, and vehicle service reports.
Requirements:
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand and drive for virtually the entire shift.
  • Experience within the food and beverage industry preferred.
  • Must be able to work in an environment where temperature is maintained at 35-40 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • May have exposure to allergens.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Be able to effectively work in a team environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $23.03/HR
