Job Title: CDL Driver Class A and B

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking a skilled CDL Driver Class A and B to join our team. As a vital member of our construction team, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and transporting materials safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections to ensure safe operation.
  • Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Participate as a vital team member, contributing to the success of Austin Bridge & Road.
  • Attend daily safety meetings and follow safety protocols.
  • Work varied hours, including days, nights, and weekends, to meet project needs.
  • Able to work in adverse weather conditions and extreme temperatures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 12 months of relevant driving experience in the construction industry.
  • Strong commitment to jobsite safety.
  • Thorough operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment, including end dump, belly dump, tandem, flow boy, and super dump experience.
  • Experience with off-highway driving in construction sites.
  • Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check, as well as a TXDOT physical.
  • Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and state and federal regulations.
  • Must maintain a current State-issued Class A or B driver's license.
  • Familiarity with securing heavy and/or oversized loads.
  • MVR record must meet company and DOT standards.
