Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
- Use smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Inspect and maintain equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services, promoting U-Haul's offerings and benefits.
- Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Install hitches and trailer wiring, and fill propane tanks, as needed.
- Drive a forklift, as certified, to move equipment and supplies around the lot.
- Participate in ongoing continuous education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date on products, services, and best practices.
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
The work involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions, such as working around moving parts or machines, fumes, or irritant chemicals. Protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields, may be required.
Physical DemandsThe work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of remaining stationary, moving around indoors and outdoors, positioning oneself to reach objects at varying heights, and moving equipment weighing a minimum of 50 lbs. assisted or unassisted.
