Your Role in Making a Difference
As the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of ongoing recruitment and retention efforts for volunteers.
- Facilitate training and orientation sessions to ensure volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Assess and document the skills and competencies of volunteers.
- Collaborate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to ensure the integration of volunteer services.
- Develop a public relations strategy to foster positive relationships with volunteers and the community.
- Assist in the planning and execution of events related to the volunteer program.
Qualifications for Success:
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate with others to achieve team objectives.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with patients, families, staff, and other professionals.
- Familiarity with hospice management and volunteer coordination is preferred.

Experience Required:
