Job Overview

As an Appliance Repair Specialist with Island Appliance Repair, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of home appliance maintenance and repair. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing appliances, developing new customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair appliances in a timely and efficient manner
  • Develop new customers through effective sales techniques
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain company vehicles and equipment
  • Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean record and at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Proficiency in navigating tablet-based technology
  • The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance
  • Flexible and variable hours (no weekends)
  • Supply own hand tools and meters (more information given upon interview)
Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 50 pounds.

Benefits

Hourly plus monthly commission-based wage. Health, dental, and vision insurance options available after 90 days of employment. Two weeks paid vacation yearly beginning the following calendar year.
