Job Summary

Ridgeview Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and CT scans in accordance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure patient safety.
  • Produce high-quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and CT scans.
  • Assist with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
  • Review cases with radiologists to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
  • Demonstrate room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiology.
  • Registered by the ARRT.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray/CT scans.
  • Ability to meet and maintain necessary background checks.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence.
  • Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
  • Capable of making independent decisions with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

License/Certifications

  • CPR certified.
