Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Job Summary:
Ridgeview Medical Center is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic x-rays and CT scans in accordance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interact with patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner to ensure patient safety.
- Produce high-quality and accurate diagnostic x-rays and CT scans.
- Assist with maintenance of equipment to ensure patient safety and proper working order.
- Review cases with Radiologists to ensure accuracy of clinical data obtained.
- Demonstrate room and equipment cleaning process between patients.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology.
- Registered by the ARRT.
- Knowledge of anatomy and pathology seen on x-ray/CT scans.
- Ability to meet and maintain necessary background checks.
- Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence.
- Ability to serve patients in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Strong computer skills and basic Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to respond appropriately to unpredictable situations and diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team.
- Capable of making independent decisions with good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
License/Certifications:
- CPR Certified.
