Job Summary:

MedStar Health is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at MedStar Washington Hospital Center. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and developing and implementing individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in the field.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality by identifying and reporting potential risks and hazards.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Washington, D.C.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
