Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and skilled caregivers to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will work independently with clients, providing non-medical services and support to help them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy living environment
• Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting, promoting personal hygiene and dignity
• Assist with ambulation and transfer, ensuring safe mobility and preventing falls
• Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
• Transport clients to appointments and errands, ensuring safe and reliable transportation

Qualifications and Skills

• CNA or HHA license preferred or 6 months of full-time work or 12 months of part-time work caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position
• Must have available reliable transportation; if transporting clients, must also have proof of a valid driver's license and automobile insurance
• Must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality care
• Must pass a criminal background check (national and any required by the state)
