Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Certified to join our team. As a Medical Assistant Certified, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Medical Assistant Certified who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and is committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team
- Assist with clinical procedures, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and administering medications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement effective care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and families on health-related topics and disease management
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, processing lab results, and maintaining accurate records
- Washington State Medical Assistant Certificate
- Minimum one year experience as a Medical Assistant
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
