Insurance Sales Director

About the Role:

Harrison Gray Search & Consulting is seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Director to lead our regional sales efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in driving new business sales and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Meet with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects to assess their needs and present tailored insurance solutions through on-site and farm visits.
  • Partner with internal Account Executives and Account Managers to ensure a seamless sales process and provide exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends to remain competitive.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, communications, and progress through company-provided technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with a focus on insurance or business development. Experience selling group health insurance is strongly preferred.
  • Agricultural background or familiarity with rural communities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a property & casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire and a life/health insurance license within 30 days.
