Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Support Specialist to join our team at CharterCARE Health Partners. As a key member of our Central Processing area, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to laboratory specimen processing, electronic patient registration, and test ordering.

Our ideal candidate has a strong foundation in medical terminology and computer skills. Previous laboratory experience is preferred but not required. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and working collaboratively with peers and interdisciplinary teams, we encourage you to apply.

The estimated salary for this role is around $40,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. This compensation package reflects the importance of this position in ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electronic patient registration and test ordering
  • Processing of laboratory specimens for analysis
  • Specimen handling and planting of microbiology specimens
  • Filing data/reports utilizing system design

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of laboratory terminology and specimen handling
  • Ability to utilize sound interpersonal skills when interacting with customers
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively with peers and other disciplines
