Job Title: Private Credit Associate

Location: United States.

Company Overview:

H&P Executive Search is proud to partner with a leading investment firm specializing in growth debt. With approximately $1.5 billion in assets under management, the firm focuses on the lower-middle market, engaging in both sponsored and non-sponsored transactions. Currently, they are raising their fifth fund, expected to be around $500 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in evaluating, structuring, and executing debt and equity investments, with a focus on growth debt, unitranche, and subordinated debt transactions.
  • Support due diligence for potential investments, including financial analysis, modeling, and market research.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop investment strategies and identify attractive opportunities in the lower-middle market.
  • Participate in monitoring and managing the existing investment portfolio.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts, investor relations, and reporting for the ongoing fifth fund.
  • Work on both sponsored and non-sponsored transactions, gaining exposure to a diverse range of deal types.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience on the buy-side or sell-side (investment banking, private equity, debt capital markets, or related fields).
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • A demonstrated interest in debt and equity investments, particularly within the lower-middle market.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
