Aveanna Private Duty Nurse LPN Job Description

Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide one-on-one care to our patients in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement physicians' prescribed plan of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in system of record
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required

Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
