Hilton Harrisburg is seeking a skilled and friendly Breakfast Server to join our team in Harrisburg, PA.

About the Role:

We are looking for a candidate who possesses excellent customer service skills, can multitask efficiently, and works well under pressure. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in food service, be able to lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities:

  • Take food and drink orders from restaurant customers and serve them promptly and with a smile.
  • Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer customer questions and make recommendations.
  • Presentation of a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of [6-12 months] experience in customer service principles, food server function, and restaurant operations.
  • Vision ability to clearly see detailed guest checks, computer printouts, written instructions, and observe entire restaurant in dimly lit conditions.
  • Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items in hand, and balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time, follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate verbally and in writing.
