**Job Title:** Bus Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to fill the role of Bus Operator at Calhoun City Schools. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for transporting students to and from school, ensuring their safe arrival and departure.

In this position, you will operate a bus on designated routes, following a predetermined schedule. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bus, as well as reporting any maintenance issues to the fleet manager.

To succeed in this role, you must have a valid Georgia CDL with PS endorsement, a good driving record, and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work independently and make sound judgments in emergency situations.

About the Job:

  • Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
  • Location: Calhoun City Schools
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Experience: 1-2 years of driving experience preferred
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid Georgia CDL with PS endorsement

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate a bus on designated routes, following a predetermined schedule
  2. Maintain a clean and organized bus
  3. Report any maintenance issues to the fleet manager
  4. Ensure student safety during transport
  5. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other stakeholders

Requirements:
