Nurse Practitioner

The RN Clinical Nurse is a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. As a proactive and compassionate professional, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive individualized care that meets their unique needs.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions- Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in the delivery of clinical care, utilizing evidence-based practice and analytical/critical thinking skills.
- Provide relationship-based patient-centered care that is consistent with population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others (as appropriate) to set and achieve patient goals, using effective communication methods such as bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds, and planned patient teaching.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care that promotes the professional care delivery model, including diverse and inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods and timely documentation.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research, and research utilization to promote safe, quality patient care, and actively support shared governance at all levels in the system.
- Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred).
- RN - Multistate Compact or Reg Nurse (Single State).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) with American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) with American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Prvdr or NRP - Instructor or NRP-Provisional.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills.
- Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Practices nursing using evidence and analytical skills, with strong critical thinking skills.
