We are a high-growth startup representing a rapidly scaling company. We are looking for a dynamic and versatile FP&A Manager to drive financial strategy as we prepare for our next growth phase.

Role Overview:

The FP&A Manager will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for strategic financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. The ideal candidate has experience with pre-IPO firms (Series A to Private Equity-backed) and is skilled in creating streamlined financial models, crafting KPI dashboards, and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Modeling: Build, refine, and simplify complex financial models to support forecasting, valuation, and strategic planning.
  • Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain KPI and reporting dashboards for internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate insights for decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process and provide insights into variances, trends, and performance against targets.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales to calculate commissions, and with HR to track headcount and compensation planning.
  • Investor Relations & Reporting: Prepare materials for board meetings, investor updates, and capital-raising efforts.
  • Capital Management: Support capital raising activities and M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial projections, and integration planning.
  • Technology & Systems: Manage CARTA and other financial systems to support equity management and cap table maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or Big 4 Accounting, followed by 3-5 years in Corporate FP&A.
  • Proven track record in early to mid-growth stage companies, with exposure to pre-IPO environments.
  • Strong modeling skills with the ability to create simplified, actionable financial models.
  • Experience in building presentations and financial decks for senior leadership and investors.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to distill complex data into key insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools like Excel, CARTA, and FP&A platforms.
