Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager who is also a Licensed Project Engineer to oversee various land development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct a talented team of Engineers in Training (EITs), designers, and CAD Technicians to formulate detailed plans for a range of land development projects.
- Engage with clients to thoroughly understand project objectives and timelines.
- Assume complete responsibility for projects from start to finish.
- Ensure all engineering documentation adheres to relevant regulations, keep clients informed about project status, and maintain precise records.
- Exhibit strong decision-making skills, take initiative, and uphold accountability for project outcomes.
Project Design and Management
- Design both commercial and residential projects, managing various design elements such as roadways, water management systems, and drainage solutions.
- Develop, modify, and manage project plans to effectively meet client specifications.
- Oversee daily project operations and maintain client relationships.
- Review deliverables from the team prior to client presentations.
- Prepare for project evaluations and quality assurance checks.
- Ensure project documentation is precise and current.
- Regularly monitor project hours and expenditures.
- Comprehend project financials and make informed decisions based on this understanding.
- Manage legal documentation related to projects and deliver compelling presentations.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of experience in designing and managing land development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an A.B.E.T Accredited Institution.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil-3D, and various engineering software applications.
- Experience in private land development is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Bentley software.
