About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician to join our team at Dobbs Truck Group. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of commercial trucks and equipment, working out of our fully equipped mobile service truck.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with electrical, charging, and starting systems
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical publications to determine root cause of customer complaints
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to customer requests and fostering strong relationships
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience as a Diesel/Service Technician in a commercial truck dealership
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License and a qualified MVR abstract
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Great customer service skills
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this role include regular lifting and moving of heavy equipment, frequent exposure to loud noises, and occasional exposure to extreme temperatures and hazardous materials.
