Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patient needs and capabilities.
  • Design and implement tailored occupational therapy programs.
  • Facilitate activities that enhance patient independence and quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications:

Essential:

- Bachelor's, Master's, or post-graduate certification in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations as required.


Desirable:
- Membership in the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to walk unassisted and maintain balance to support patients during functional training.
  • Capability to lift and reach to assist patients during therapeutic exercises.
  • Manual dexterity and tactile sensitivity to assess muscle tension and monitor vital signs.
  • Visual acuity to observe and analyze patient movements and biomechanics.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to instruct patients and their families.
  • Ability to listen and comprehend patient feedback regarding symptoms and treatment responses.

Work Environment:
Responsibilities include frequent standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional stooping and climbing. The role demands a proactive approach to patient care within a supportive and dynamic healthcare setting.
