Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Cardiology Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at vTech Solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various medical imaging procedures, including PET scans, and working with a mobile PET CT unit that services the Charlotte area.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Cardiology Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Traveler experience required; 1st time travelers not accepted
  • EPIC experience required
  • ARRT or NMTCB certification required
  • BLS certification required
Preferred Skills and Certifications
  • Work setting: clinic preferred
  • Work equipment: Siemens required
  • Procedures: PET Scan required
  • Professional knowledge and skills: Drawing Venous Blood, Isolation Precautions, Start and maintain peripheral IV, Storing/Handling/Disposal of Radioactive Materials required
Job Details

This position is for a mobile PET CT unit that is owned by Novant Forsyth Medical Center, but services the Charlotte area. The unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025. The shift is Monday 06:00-18:30, Friday 06:00-18:30, and Saturday 06:00-18:30. The unit will not accept contracts that include holidays.

Call and Float Requirements

No call or float requirements for this position.

Weekend Requirement

This position requires working every Saturday.

Special Procedures and Unit Details

Visits per day: 12. Ratios: 1:3 on weekdays, 1:2 on weekends.

Special Equipment

The unit uses Siemens equipment.

Scrub Color

Royal blue scrub color is required.
