Position Overview

The Department of Radiology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine is inviting applications for a full-time faculty role within the Nuclear Medicine section.

This section is actively engaged in clinical practice, research initiatives, and educational programs. Equipped with advanced technology, including two PET/CT scanners, a cutting-edge SPECT/CT system, a dedicated cardiac CZT camera, and two SPECT gamma cameras, the department excels in both PET and general nuclear medicine services. Notably, it is recognized for its premier Theranostics clinic.

The ideal candidate will possess a robust clinical background complemented by academic leadership and productivity, contributing to the mission of both the section and the department. Responsibilities will include participation in clinical operations, as well as supporting research and educational efforts.
  • Certification or eligibility from ABR or ABNM is mandatory. Additionally, credentials from the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and experience with PET/MRI are highly preferred.
  • Must be licensed (or eligible) to practice medicine in the state of North Carolina.
