The team will collaborate to foster innovative design, engineering, procurement, implementation, operations, sustainment, and decommissioning of user-facing and data center IT services across various networks and security domains, supporting the mission of the Intelligence Community.


The ideal candidate will demonstrate the skills and qualifications outlined below and will be prepared to undertake all responsibilities with independence and professionalism.


Responsibilities:
Develops and sustains Platform as a Service offerings utilizing RedHat OpenShift

Collaborates with the A&A Team to uphold security standards for system operations

Enhances and optimizes existing infrastructure (including autoscaling, new service support, cost efficiency/authentication/search improvements, etc.)

Creates comprehensive documentation

Administers systems within the AWS environment using EC2, S3, ELB, and RDS

Manages systems in a VMware vSphere environment, employing NSX and NetApp StorageGRID

Automates and refines service deployments

Qualifications:

Clearance Required:
TS/SCI

Degree and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience

5+ years of IT experience

5+ years of experience with Platform as a Service offerings (e.g., RedHat OpenShift, Tanzu, etc.)

Required Skills:
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining Platform as a Service offerings through cloud providers

Strong knowledge of RHEL/CentOS Linux distributions

Proficient understanding of RedHat OpenShift and/or other Kubernetes distributions

Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)

Extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services

Exceptional troubleshooting abilities

Experience in automating tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Perl

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Understanding of DevOps development processes and Continuous Integration tools: GitLab, Jenkins, Nexus

Excellent communication skills

Desired Skills:
Experience in administering production RedHat OpenShift clusters

Strong grasp of cloud APIs and interaction with AWS/CLI

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Terraform

Experience with programming languages such as Python, Ruby, or Java

Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare)

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Markdown, and portal development

Desired Certifications:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner

RedHat Certified OpenShift Administrator
