Key Responsibilities
  • Drive and Operate a Work Truck: Safely drive a work truck with an enclosed trailer to and from job sites, ensuring compliance with local traffic laws and company safety standards.
  • Load and Secure Equipment: Load and secure landscaping equipment and materials in the trailer, ensuring that all items are properly secured and ready for transport.
  • Back Up and Maneuver the Truck: Back up and maneuver the truck with the trailer into tight spaces and at job sites, demonstrating your ability to handle complex driving situations.
  • Perform Routine Inspections: Perform routine inspections of the truck and trailer, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns to ensure the continued safety and efficiency of our operations.
  • Assist with Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials at job sites, working collaboratively with the landscaping crew to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
  • Lead the Landscaping Crew: Lead and work collaboratively with the landscaping crew to ensure the successful completion of projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Vehicle: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and trailer, ensuring that all equipment and materials are properly stored and secured.
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Bilingual Skills: Be fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Experience with Trimming: Have proven experience driving a truck with a trailer, including backing up and maneuvering in various environments, and possess knowledge of seasonal trimming of trees and brush.
  • Strong Understanding of Safety Practices: Have a strong understanding of safety practices related to driving and transporting equipment, with the ability to identify and report any safety concerns.
  • Ability to Lift and Move Heavy Equipment: Be able to lift and move heavy equipment and materials as needed, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.
  • Excellent Communication and Teamwork Skills: Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the landscaping crew to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Reliable and Punctual: Be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends.
  • Experience in Landscaping: Have experience in landscaping or a related field, with a strong understanding of the principles and practices of landscaping.
