Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

Central Care Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse to join our team at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). As a key member of our NICU team, you will provide exceptional care to critically ill neonates and their families.
Responsibilities:- Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate age-specific nursing care for neonates across all ages.
- Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Perform physical exams and health histories, provide health promotions, counseling, and education, and administer medications and wound care as needed.
- Direct and supervise care provided by other healthcare professionals, and make patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
- Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations, and communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions.
- At least one (1) year of qualifying experience in the specialty is required.
- Shall have and maintain a current, valid, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (with no limitations, stipulations, or pending adverse actions) in any U.S. jurisdiction within the United States, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the US Virgin Islands.
- A thorough knowledge of electronic fetal/uterine monitoring (placement, maintenance, and interpretation) is required.
